What does a layup mean when describing a radio control composite glider? You've probably seen this term when browsing for your discus launch glider, F5J electric glider or other composite gliders, but it's not immediately obvious what this refers to.
Quite simply, a layup describes the materials used for the model or option. Most DLG gliders are currently made with full carbon skins in Light, Standard and Strong layups.
